Why Are Vietnam Visas Refused?

The refusal rate for Vietnam e-visas is actually quite low, but some people still run into it. Understand the common reasons and avoid them in advance.

Common Reasons for Refusal

1. 1. The photo does not meet the requirements
A blurry photo, a background that is not pure white, wearing glasses, showing teeth, or insufficient resolution are the most common reasons for refusal.

2. 2. There is a problem with the passport scan
Glare on the scan, incomplete corners, or a passport valid for less than 6 months.

3. 3. Personal information was entered incorrectly
A name spelling that does not match the passport, a wrong date of birth, or the wrong gender selected.

4. 4. A previous adverse record in Vietnam
Previous overstays in Vietnam or deportation for unauthorized work can lead to a refusal.
